Due to last week's floods and landslides in Freetown, Sierra Leone, His Majesty The King has sent the following telegram of condolence to His Excellency President Ernest Bai Koroma.

FREETOWN
The Queen and I wish to express our deepest and most sincere condolences on the tragic loss of life caused by the devastating flooding and mudslide in Freetown on Monday 14 August. We also wish to offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of Sierra Leone.
