Officiating clergy at the christening of HRH Prince Gabriel

The christening of Prince Gabriel will take place in the Royal Chapel at Drottningholm Palace on Friday 1 December 2017 at midday (12 o'clock).

The officiating clergy at the christening of Prince Gabriel will be the The Most Reverend Archbishop Emeritus Anders Wejryd, assisted by The Right Reverend Bishop and Chief Court Chaplain Dr. Johan Dalman, and The Reverend, Court Chaplain and Rector of the Royal Court Parish Michael Bjerkhagen.

After the christening ceremony there will be a reception for invited guests, after which a private lunch will take place.

The invited guests are the immediate family, representatives of the Riksdag, the Government and official Sweden.

Prince Alexander will be baptised in the same gown worn by Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, and Prince Alexander at their christenings. The water used at the christening will come from a spring on Öland.

Prince Gabriel Carl Walther was born on 31 August 2017 at Danderyd Hospital.
