The Crown Princess attends a Home Guard exercise in Dalarna
On Wednesday 29 September, The Crown Princess visited the Home Guard's Borderland exercise at Rörbäcksnäs in Dalarna's Sälen Mountains.
The Crown Princess was invited to the exercise by the Chief of the Home Guard, Major General Stefan Sandborg.

Exercise with the Norwegian Home Guard
During the day, The Crown Princess met many Swedish and Norwegian Home Guard soldiers who were taking part in the exercise.
The Borderland exercise was carried out near the Norwegian border, together with Norwegian Home Guard forces.
The Home Guard
The Home Guard is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' task force, and makes up almost half of the Armed Forces' personnel. The Home Guard troops are modern military units, and their main task is to defend, protect, oversee and support civilian society during times of crisis.
