On Wednesday 23 September, The Queen took part in the UN's digital high-level meeting 'Digital cooperation: Action today for future generations'.

On Wednesday evening, The Queen took part in the UN's digital high-level meeting 'Digital cooperation: Action today for future generations', part of the UN General Assembly's 75th session.

The meeting included discussions on child safety online and measures to safeguard children's and young people's digital presence.

The Queen was one of the keynote speakers. In her speech, The Queen said:

"Ladies and gentlemen. It isn't easy for a queen to speak about sexually abused children. I have been doing it for the last two decades. I have to admit that I, too, often feel pessimistic about the prospects of progress. And yet, because of my grandchildren and yours, I know I have to continue."
