The Queen meets with Mentor USA

On 28-29 November, The Queen attended a meeting and a fundraising dinner with Mentor USA in Washington DC.

Mentor is a drugs prevention organisation which The Queen founded in 1994 in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO). Today, Mentor has a presence in Sweden, the Middle East, the USA, South America, the UK, Germany and the Baltic States.

During her visit to Washington, The Queen attended Mentor USA's board meeting and a fundraising dinner to which Ambassador Karin Olofsdotter was invited. The aim of the dinner was to raise awareness of positive developments for young people and drug prevention.

On the Thursday, The Queen met Mentor USA's youth ambassadors during a meeting at the House of Sweden.
