On Friday 13 March, The King received the Prime Minister during an extraordinary audience in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus.

The King had requested an update on the situation from the Prime Minister. During the audience, the Prime Minister informed The King about the Government's decisions that had been made to limit the spread of coronavirus. Coronavirus causes the COVID-19 disease, which has been classed as a danger to the public and society.
