The King and The Crown Princess meet with Keep Sweden Tidy

On Monday 12 April, The King and The Crown Princess took part in a digital meeting with Keep Sweden Tidy.

During the meeting, CEO of Keep Sweden Tidy Johanna Ragnartz, Production Manager Lisa Possne and Chief Communications Officer Pontus Tengby spoke about Keep Sweden Tidy's activities and campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of protecting and defending nature.

These included the organisation's litter pick-up days, coastal protection, Keep Sweden Tidy Day, Plastimist dinghy and litter box projects.

The King concluded the meeting by saying "Hang on in there. You must not give up easily."

The King is patron of the Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation, and sent a greeting to mark Keep Sweden Tidy Day in 2020.

The Crown Princess launched Keep Sweden Tidy Day 2018opens in new window, and cleaned a beach in Bohuslän together with pupils from Bojar School in Strömstad.

In 2019, The Crown Princess and Princess Estelle showed the importance of keeping nature tidy by picking up litter on Royal Djurgården in Stockholm and in Haga Park in Solna.
