The King and Queen attend the opening of the Stockholm Early Music Festival

On Tuesday 1 June, The King and Queen attended a concert to mark the opening of the 20th Stockholm Early Music Festival at the German Church in Gamla Stan, Stockholm.

After the opening ceremony, a concert was held at which Vivaldi's The Four Seasons was performed, interpreted by violinist and conductor Dmitry Sinkovsky together with the ensemble La Voce Strumentale. The programme also featured works by Leclair, Jacquet de la Guerre and Boismortier.
