On Thursday 9 January, The Crown Princess held an audience for Birgitta Resvik at the Royal Palace.
Birgitta Resvik is an entrepreneur with a broad background within the field of the climate, energy and the environment, and is also a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA).
On 12 November 2019, Ms Resvik was one of the speakers at a high-level seminar on sustainability held in the Bernadotte Library to mark IVA's centenary, which was attended by The King and Queen and The Crown Princess Couple. Then, she spoke about how we have gone in the space of just 20 years from sending large volumes of household waste to landfill to sending less than one percent to landfill today.
During the audience, The Crown Princess and Ms Resvik spoke about issues relating to the climate and energy, both in Sweden and internationally.
