On Thursday 20 August, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel held an audience with representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting global developments, and specifically attempts to achieve the global sustainable development goals.
To find out more about how the UNDP is working in connection with the pandemic, The Crown Princess Couple held an audience during the morning with Ulrika Modéer, the UN's Assistant Secretary General and Director of the UNDP's Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy, and Caroline Åberg and Carolina Given-Sjölander from UNDP Sweden.
During the audience, The Crown Princess Couple learnt about the UNDP's work on the socioeconomic consequences of the pandemic.

The Royal Family are staying informed about how the pandemic is affecting Sweden via discussions, digital meetings and visits.
These visits are planned based on current recommendations, and every effort is being made not to take up time and resources unnecessarily.
