On Tuesday 12 November, The King and Queen hosted an official dinner at the Royal Palace.
The guests were received and greeted by The King and Queen, The Crown Princess Couple and The Prince Couple in the Vita Havet Assembly Rooms. The dinner was served in Karl XI's Gallery.
Guests included representatives from the diplomatic corps, the Riksdag, the Swedish Government, authorities, science, sport, business and culture, as well as people the Royal Family had met on visits.
The King accompanied First Deputy Speaker of the Riksdag Åsa Lindestam to the table. Rwanda's ambassador Christine Nkulikiyinka was seated to his left.
The Queen was accompanied to the table by Minister Tomas Eneroth. Algeria's ambassador Ahcène Kerma was seated to her right.
The Crown Princess was accompanied to the table by the Russian Federation's ambassador Viktor Ivanovich Tatarintsev. Minister Tomas Eneroth was seated to her right.

The porcelain for the evening's dinner was a gift from the Riksdag and the Swedish Government to The King on his 50th birthday in 1996. The service was produced by Hackman-Rörstrand Gustafsberg and designed by Karin Björquist.
The glass service was made by Kosta and designed by Sigurd Persson, and was a wedding present from the Riksdag and the Swedish Government to The King and Queen in 1976.
The table silver was from the Brazilian silver service. The service is so called because it previously belonged to the Brazilian imperial family. Following the death of Empress Amalia in 1873 it was inherited by her sister, Queen Dowager Josefina of Sweden.
The table linen was woven at Klässbols Väveri between 1993 and 1998 by master weaver Hans Thomsson, and was designed by Karin Björquist.
