On Tuesday 24 December, on Christmas Eve afternoon, The Crown Princess Family visited Norrmalm Police Station in Stockholm to wish them a happy Christmas.

The Crown Princess Couple, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar took part in the police's briefing session for patrol officers working on Christmas Eve afternoon and evening at Norrmalm police district and Södermalm police district, and staff at the regional command centre.

When officers working the afternoon and evening shift on Christmas Eve met, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel took the opportunity, on behalf of the entire Royal Family, to thank them for the work carried out by the police around the clock, every day of the year.

Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar then offered the police officers gingerbread biscuits before the Christmas Eve shift.

Prince Oscar, who had taken gingerbread biscuits to the police station together with Princess Estelle, was given a police badge and cap by officers as a Christmas present.
